St John in the Wilderness

Welcome to the Church of St John in the Wilderness in the Church of England parish of Withycombe Raleigh with Exmouth.

St John in the Wilderness has a lively, active and mission-oriented church community.

This community reflects the local population in comprising people of a wide range of age and backgrounds, worshipping in a variety of styles.

The church has a modern catholic tradition centred on the eucharist.  Through liturgy and worship, faith exploration, social events, community concern, and outreach, our aim is to grow together in likeness to Jesus Christ.
